Therapy

Dr. Sharir sees older teens (aged 15 and above) and adults with a wide variety of issues including:

  • Depression and other Mood Disorders
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Sleep problems 
  • Trauma including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Grief and Loss
  • Relationship Difficulties
  • Anger
  • Life Transitions
  • Chronic Pain
  • Concussions and Traumatic Brain Injury


Dr. Sharir has a client-centred orientation, which emphasizes having a warm, non-judgemental and collaborative relationship with clients. She uses an integrated approach, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and dialectical behavioural therapy. She focuses on learning tools 

and strategies to address current difficulties and allow for 

long-term changes.



Assessments

Dr. Sharir provides Psychodiagnostic and Medical-Legal Assessments. Please be in touch for more information.

Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision is available for graduate students as well as practicing psychologists and counsellors.

Sessions currently being offered in-person in Vancouver and through telehealth (virtual sessions) throughout 

British Columbia.
