ABOUT DR. SHARIR

Dr. Sharir completed her doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor in 2002. She received training in clinical, forensic, and rehabilitation psychology. She has been a Registered Psychologist (#1536) in British Columbia since 2003.  

Over the past twenty years, Dr. Sharir has worked with older teens and adults in hospital, outpatient mental health, and forensic settings. She has worked in private practice for over a decade. She has extensive training and experience in clinical and rehabilitation psychology. She works with a wide variety of clients on issues such as depression, anxiety and stress, trauma, grief, anger, relationship issues, chronic pain, and sequalae from traumatic brain injury,  

Dr. Sharir has experience completing Psychodiagnostic and Medical-Legal assessments. She has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and at arbitrations as an expert witness.  

As part of her practice, Dr. Sharir has supervised masters and doctoral-level trainees. She has also presented at workshops and conferences on various mental health topics.
